DJ Hojo Hits
DJ Hojo Hits was born when a maverick on the Bestival message board ran a 2 year campaign to get 80s synth pop wizard Howard Jones booked for the festival. The campaign failed, but instead Rob da Bank has allowed this nutcase to DJ a set of Howard Jones tunes at this years event. If only to get him off his back. His set will provide a time and a place for Besti message board users to meet up and have a little boogie to ‘classics’ such as ‘What Is Love’, ‘New Song’ and ‘Life In One Day’.
Expect to see a man dressed like Howard Jones, DJing badly, with no mixing skills whatsoever, playing CDs in a shambolic yet strangely sincere way.
When asked what he was attempting to achieve at Bestival, DJ Hojo Hits would only reply, that in the words of his god, Lord Howard Jones, he would “Like To Get To Know You Well.”
A unique DJ set that will never be seen at any other Festival.
