Serving his apprenticeship with Juan Atkins and Derrick May, then pioneers of the original Detroit sound, Carl Craig has gone on to become one of the most experimental and musically diverse producers and DJs on the planet.
From the late eighties to the present day Carl has continued to invent and lay waste to genre after genre. As Paperclip People he showcased the ever evolving sound of Detroit, as Innerzone Orchestra he released the breakbeat classic "Bug in the Bassbin" which everyone from 4 Hero to Goldie will immediately cite as a major influence in the birth of UK drum and bass and under his own name he has produced some of the most forward thinking, compositionally stunning music ever released.
